The club was formed and sanctioned during the Fall 2009 Semester. Membership is open to any student or staff at Mesa Community Colleges' (MCC) Southern & Dobson and Red Mountain campuses.
MCC is the largest of the ten colleges in the Maricopa County Community College District (MCCCD). MCC provides quality instruction in more than 150 degree, career, and university transfer programs.
