Summary / Purpose
Under general supervision performs routine analysis of rejected, returned, and
in process material in support of engineering and manufacturing as required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Operates various types of office equipment, electrical andmechanical measuring
equipment, and maintains other related equipment appropriate to the assigned
area.  Performs routine engineering analysis of materiaol specifications.  Works
from schematics, engineering drawings, written or verbal instructions. 
Administers routine updates of the purchased parts database. Provides technical
assistance and leadership as necessary. Performs source inspection assignments
as required. Records, summarizes, reports and presents data and information
significant to department operations. Performs other related duties as assigned.
May be required to work overtime.

Job Requirements
Requires five years of component/material quality experience. Knowledge of
electronic/mechanical component application and classification.  Requires
excellent written and verbal communication skills organization and time
management skills. Additional experience with material requirements planning
(MRP) is beneficial. Knowledge of personal computer operation including use of
Microsoft office (Excel Word etc.) Able to read write and communicate in
English.
