The Tech Engineer II will monitor defined equipment lines for procedures,
on-going quality, and efficiency. Provides programming instructions and assists
in troubleshooting equipment and process related problems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Interprets assembly drawings. Establishes routing requirements, standards and
data entry into QM module.
Provides programming instructions for SMT Through-hole auto insertion, Wave
Solder equipment and other programmable manufacturing equipment (non-test).
Implements correct status entry into SAP. Monitors and troubleshoots equipment
and process flow.  Assists in the analysis of cycle time, defect reduction, and
root cause analysis of defects. Assist in the introduction of new products and
prototypes to the manufacturing floor.
Assist in the up-front planning for the creation of assembly work instructions.
Assists in the implementation of ECO, ECR, BOM and problem feedback into
manufacturing processes.
Review labor standards for re-costing/re-pricing.  Assists in providing labor
quotes. Orders stencils per Jabil Circuit design guidelines. Other duties as
required.

Job Requirements
AAS in Engineering desired. Minimum of 2 years previous experience programming
SMT and Through-hole equipment.  
Must be able to work 2nd Shift. Ability to read and understand customer-defined
engineering designs. Thorough knowledge of automated T-H and surface mount
equipment operations. Possess general knowledge of design for manufacturability.
Must be able to effectively interact with people within the organization and
outside the organization.  Knowledge of SAP Circuit Cam Excel.
Knowledge of statistical process control and must be able to use advanced
mathematics. Must be able to read write and communicate in English. May be
required to work overtime.
