Description

A Biomedical Equipment Technician will maintain and repair all dialysis, water treatment, and ancillary medical equipment. The Biomed Tech will also be responsible for electrical safety assurance, performance testing dialysis machines and related equipment, training new Reuse technicians, performing monthly biomedical audits, and inventory maintenance.

Requirements

  • High school graduate; associate of arts in electronics preferred
  • At least one year of experience as a dialysis technician preferred
  • At least one year of experience in repair and maintenance of dialysis equipment preferred
  • Appropriate certifications as required by law
  • Valid driver's license in state of employment
  • Driving record must meet insurance liability requirements
  • Good communication and training skills
  • Ability to work overtime with little or no notice; periodic on-call as assigned
